USCCA Fundamental Qualification $(TBD)

Items Required or available to rent:

1. Handgun- no small pocket pistols. (Loaner guns available for $25 cleaning fee)
2. Holster- Appropriate for your gun, outside the waistband, prefer hard-shell, Kydex style (Loaners may be available)
3. Sturdy Belt (Absolute MUST) - To hold holster & mag pouch steady when manipulating the gun & magazines.
4. At least 2 magazines for your gun (3 preferred)
5. Magazine Belt Pouch (open top) - Kydex-style preferred (Uncle Mikes or Blackhawk-Loaners may be available)
6. Electronic Hearing Protection (rental sets available for $5 or Purchase for $45)
7. Shooting glasses- Wrap-around coverage preferred (Sunglasses are OK)
8. Brimmed hat (Ball cap is ok) to keep brass from falling in your face
9. Comfortable Clothing for the weather conditions (No tank tops or low-cut shirts)
10. Enclosed shoes suitable for rough terrain
11. Concealment Garment (Vest or light Jacket)
12. At least 100 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads). May use up to 150 rounds (3 boxes).

Universal Firearms Safety Rules:

1. Treat every gun as if it were loaded.
2. Never point the muzzle at anything you don’t want to destroy.
3. Keep your finger OFF the trigger until you are ready to fire.
4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
