This 8-hour course begins with a classroom setting where you will learn the basics of handling a firearm, Idaho legal codes, when you can shoot in self-defense and when you cannot. Then, to the range shooting static targets and learning proper handling & accuracy!

About the event
The Personal Protection Firearms Course will provide eligibility for your Idaho Enhanced Concealed Weapons License. This NRA & USCCA Approved/Certified class is also approved to obtain your Oregon Concealed Weapons Permit. We will start with the morning session in the classroom where you will learn Idaho legal codes, proper stance, grip, presentation, manipulation of your semi-auto pistol, and all the issues that can go along with being involved in a self-defense shooting.
We will wrap up the day at the range, shooting static targets of paper and steel. You will gain the ability to be comfortable with your firearm, learning the proper handling and manipulation while becoming an accurate shooter! Multiple range drills will provide you with hands-on firearms training and safety!
